The ultimate transportation app for Bilkent University
BilRide is a mobile application aiming to solve the lack of enough ring shuttles at Bilkent University and the lack of hitchhiking culture problems. With the help of BilRide, drivers will not suffer from high gas prices, passengers can arrive on time to campus, and the carbon emissions from cars will decrease. It will also create a social network between drivers and passengers by chat and team feature provided to all users.
Carpooling
In the app, passengers can rate the driver, give feedback, choose how many people they want to travel with, and view the drivers' upcoming routes schedule if they set it. In contrast, drivers can view which route they will take, how many passengers they want, whether there will be a tip (a certain percentage of the gasoline price), and the route that the passengers want.
Ring Tracking
Additionally, when the passengers cannot find the car, they can use the ring tracking feature to catch the shuttle. Unlike other transportation apps, BilRide focuses on bringing a complete solution to Bilkent University's transportation problems with both carpooling and ring tracking features.
